I am a cognitive neuroscientist studying how we selectively process and store certain information in memory. My research uses electrophysiological (single- and multi-unit recordings, recordings of local-field potentials, and event-related potentials), behavioral, and neuroimaging methods to study how the brains of human and nonhuman primates implement selective processing and cognitive control.

I am currently an assistant professor at Vanderbilt affiliated with the Psychology Department, the Vanderbilt Vision Research Center, and the Center for Integrative & Cognitive Neuroscience.
